The podium and decks were on several areas and locations on this project. With the normal array of surface finishes that are required in a high-end apartment block. This was another project with leuschke architects where we were selected and assisted at design stage for all the detailing to the multiple podium areas and all the complex detailing that is required on these projects. As a supply and installation company we can also come up with details as the project is progressing and this allows the project to flow quicker due to the quick response time in decision making.
WATERPROOFING SOLUTION
The liquid nature and skill of installers allows the mastic asphalt to be adapted to any shape and be able to be applied to some complex shapes unlike sheet membranes where multiple cuts are needed to moult around corners and circular penetrations. Asphaltech once again performed to produce a superior installed podium area.
Podium Terrace System
Extremely strong, durable and can be easily formed/molded to complex shapes the premium Podium system is perfect for modern construction. In its malleable state, when hot, it allows a full range of surface finishes from the mastic asphalt wearing layer, which can be stamped with patterns, coloured or just smooth flat providing a stable base for overlaying various surface finishes from the pavers on pedestals systems to simple decorative pebbled surfaces.
