There were several multi shared podium areas with a range of finishes from grass, planter beds, raised grass areas, timber decking and tiles on pedestals. There was extraordinarily complex detailing and design around the podium which had water features also incorporated into the area. All the podiums were being constructed above also while the work to the podium was taken place. There were multiple trades working on the finished waterproofing surface.
WATERPROOFING SOLUTION
Once again Pacoflex mastic asphalt held up to the rigours of construction in New Zealand where we mad multiple trade walking and cutting tiles and storing tonnes of product onto the completed waterproofing product. This was all achieved while working to very tight construction programme times.
Podium Terrace System
Extremely strong, durable and can be easily formed/molded to complex shapes the premium Podium system is perfect for modern construction. In its malleable state, when hot, it allows a full range of surface finishes from the mastic asphalt wearing layer, which can be stamped with patterns, coloured or just smooth flat providing a stable base for overlaying various surface finishes from the pavers on pedestals systems to simple decorative pebbled surfaces.
