This project was an exceptionally large hockey field and sports facility over a carpark, office and changing rooms. The client and Architect were looking for a product that could be laid to low falls almost flat so the wearing layer and hockey sports surface could be applied without a fall. As Jasmax were familiar with our product and used it in various podium and carpark projects throughout the years. We were called in to discuss product selection and Specification for this project.
WATERPROOFING SOLUTION
The waterproofing for the Hockey pitch was specified with Pacoflex our robust hard waring product that has stood the test of time in many of New Zealand’s roofs, podiums, decks, and carparks. The podium was installed at a rate of 200m2 per day and was complete in a quick timeframe. The surface was then levelled with a hot mix tar then the hockey surface was bonded to the asphalt wear layer.
Car Park Trafficable Roofing System
The complete car parking system will not only waterproof your structure but can also be designed and laid with a Mastic Asphalt wearing layer or concrete wear slabs capable of withstanding high volumes traffic. Car parking systems will require specific design depending on the nature and use of the car park in question. Systems vary from light traffic to extensive use.
